President Jerry McKinney and the officers of the association would like to welcome you to our association. The association was founded in 1874 at Ada, Ohio. Article I of the Constitution and By-Laws of the association states that: "The object of this association shall be to create and maintain a brotherly and fraternal feeling by banding together such volunteer, part-paid, paid firefighters as may be carried on the rolls of fire companies or fire departments, to work for the education of its members in the advancement of their chosen duty of firefighting, fire prevention and rescue work; to hold a Conference annually for the promotion of friendship among the members; and to seek protection for fighters and their dependents through adequate legislation." Reminder of the 2024 Regional Fire School at the Penta Career Center in Perrysburg, Ohio on March 9th & 10th. Opening meeting at 8:30 am. Registration is available on-line at novfafireschool.org. In person registration starts at 7:30 am each day.

Please be advised that the Charity Fund for 2023 has ended as of January 30, 2024. Department that have not paid their 2024 dues are no longer covered. Regular dues of $40 per year must be paid along with $3 per member to be placed in the Charity Fund. Membership can be checked on the member's pages.

Our Charity Fund has entered the Grace Period of 30 days. After January 30th the cost for membership to the fund will be $3 per member regardless if they were members for 2023. Please check the listings on the Charity Fund and Members pages to check on your department. Currently there are 177 department members in the NOVFA with 162 in the Charity fund for 2024.
