SOFTBALL

The 2007 NOVFA Softball Tournament will be hosted by the Oregon Fire Department on August 3 thru 5.(Rain dates are August 10 thru 12)  Oregon is working hard to make this the largest tournament in the history of the NOVFA.  With stoned and lighted diamonds,a larger field of contestants can enjoy a great three day event. 

There will also be a 1-pitch, 16 inch Chicago Ball Tournament for those teams eliminated from the loser's bracket.  This will be a double elimination tournament with a consolation tournament.  Also,a homerun hitting contest for individuals and teams will be held with trophies presented to the winners.

There is a large camp ground just four miles from the diamonds...at Maumee State Park....great for family camping or staying at the lodge.  Hotels are also available in and around Oregon.  If you have questions, call Chief Walendzak at 419.698.7020.

Entry fee will be $100.00 per team.  Stay tuned for the drawing date.  The drawing will be held on July 22nd at Oregon's Station 1 at the corner of Seaman and Wynn Roads.

Deadline for mailing is Saturday, July 21st.
